An original collection of seven watches and eleven pieces of jewelry by Victoire de Castellane, Gem Dior exalts the House’s creativity and excellence of savoir-faire. “I wanted to design a collection of watches and jewelry that wasn’t figurative,” confides the Creative Director of Dior Jewelry. “The spirit of this collection is modern, it’s a style I would describe as abstract organic, an organized commotion that proved a true technical challenge for our ateliers.” For example, the timepiece’s original casing mimics the appearance of minerals, while the bracelet was inspired by the way Monsieur Dior pinned fabric samples for his haute couture creations on sheets of paper. The atypical geometry of Gem Dior also extends to an irresistible series of rings, bangles, and earrings. A unique universe that marries audacity and elegance.
