By day, a fabulous lotus flower blooms across the Rainflower Night’s mother of pearl. Its pure lines, which appear to float on water, are surrounded by precious diamonds. By night, its petals and their reflections are illuminated in mauve with purple accents, enigmatic and captivating.
By making this new model blossom, Mido has added a sublime dimension to the charming Rainflower collection, whose immeasurable delicacy and unique design are inspired by the floral architecture of the ArtScience Museum in Singapore. The centrepiece of the Rainflower Night is a subtle mother of pearl dial in which a decorative lotus flower appears to be reflected. Its face sparkles with exquisitely refined diamonds. In the darkness, a luminescent coating illuminates this bewitching dial with a purple glow. The heart of the Rainflower Night beats to the rhythm of the Calibre 80, which offers an exceptional power reserve. The elegance of a rose gold-coloured case paired with a comfortable mauve leather strap perfectly completes this spectacular piece, which is designed to appeal to the most enchanting of women.
A magical invitation
By day, the Rainflower Night presents a face of timeless elegance, in which an iconic lotus flower blooms across a mother of pearl dial. Its reflection appears mirrored in this iridescent watery surface. The hour markers are set with eleven precious diamonds encircled by rose gold-coloured metal. By night, the Super-LumiNova®-coated petals, skeletonised hour and minute hands and gemstones set at each quarter-hour, glow in shades of purple. The date appears in a discreet window at 6 o’clock. A slightly domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides protects the watch’s ethereal face.
Elegant to the tips of its petals
The precious Rainflower Night is dressed in a rose gold colour, with polished and sand-blasted case sides resembling petals turned to face the sky. A comfortable deploying clasp secures the mauve leather strap on the wrist, complementing the clean, feminine lines of the Rainflower Night.
The mechanical heart of this timekeeper beats to the rhythm of the Calibre 80, which offers an exceptional power reserve of up to 80 hours. The transparent case back reveals the refined delicacy of its decorations. On the oscillating weight, a “Rainflower” motif echoes the profile of the pillars at the centre of the ArtScience Museum in Singapore, from which the collection takes its inspiration.
